Lamar began training and coaching aspiring students of all ages, in 2003. He’s written, produced and directed stage plays & short films. In 2005, he started a theatre production company called “Churchboi Productions” and a film production company called “Elyas Entertainment”. Lamar has also produced and directed music videos and commercials. He studied Meisner and Uta Hagen’s Acting Technique and brings 23 years of industry experience and knowledge into each session.

The new post pandemic era in the casting world is still and will be most likely forever, set with self tapes and zoom calls for callbacks or chemistry sessions. Acting is now a virtual essence and people can physically work together from across the States, and even across the world. New friendships can be formed and collaborations, until physical production days, on set, realizing the magic and living the life of the actor. Warm ups, jobs preparation, auditions, explorations, more ranges, more freedom, great camera techniques, Lamar's programs are uniquely inspiring. 

Classes can be tailored to specific group needs, schedule wise or in exploration and deepening ways, in collaboration with our very proud Active Actors Youth Mentors. Our proud Youth Mentors are our advanced student actors, gifted with generosity and talent.
